Another amazing bass from luthier Kevin Robertson
The pick-up is a Norstrom MM. The bass is passive, with a volume, tone and three way switch for the pick-up; split, series and parrallel
The construction of the bass is neck through with a walnut to and back and a spruce core. The neck is wenge and maple and the fret board is macassar ebony and the frets are stainless steel. The neck is fashioned after a 1964 Jazz Bass. Like most of Kevins basses, the frets are fanned 35” to 34” (E to G) subtle but nice!
The stunning position inlay on the fretboard was created in order that when viewed from a distance there was no doubt that this bass was fretless.
